GREENGUARD®
GREENGUARD Certification ensures that a product has met some of the world’s most rigorous and comprehensive standards for low emissions of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) into indoor air.
Sauder Worship Seating has long been an advocate of designing and building environmentally responsible seating products. Many Sauder Worship Seating products have received GREENGUARD® certification. Indoor air quality (IAQ) is closely tied to health, it’s an important concern in homes, schools, healthcare environments and commercial spaces. Certification provides the market with solutions and resources to identify products with low chemical emissions. And also provides manufacturers with credible tools to legitimize and promote their sustainability efforts.
GREENGUARD Certification has been widely adopted as a trusted standard for low-emitting products. Our criteria have been the basis for the LEED credit for low emitting furniture since 2002. Learn more at GREENGUARD.ORG.
BIFMA E3 Level®
This certification is a multi-attributed, multi-faceted approach resulting in sustainable manufacturing within the furniture industry. Based on the BIFMA e3-Furniture Sustainability Standard, LEVEL is a third-party certification program. The program provides manufacturers with valuable feedback to better evaluate their impact on the environmental, and also on the human population. The program also helps manufacturers gain understanding on the social impact of their furniture products as well. The LEVEL takes into account the manufacturing, facility, and organization impacts at all levels before granting any certification.
